The Santa Parade Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the awards for the 2014 Nighttime Santa Parade.

“It’s always hard to pick out the ‘best’ from the parade. Every float is incredible in its own way,” said Elizabeth Savill, volunteer chair of the Judge’s Committee. “The caliber of entries in the nighttime parade just keeps getting better and better!”

This year’s nighttime parade was blessed with mild temperatures, enthusiastic floats, bands and volunteers. Crowds were estimated to be well over 20,000.

The parade included over 60 entries with a variety of themes and ended on a magical note as a huge crowd gathered at Springer Market Square to meet Santa Claus and watch him, along with Mayor Gerretsen and The Town Crier turn the lights on the Christmas tree to kick off the holiday season.

Without further ado, the winners are…
