Citizens of Kingston interested in inviting Mayor Mark Gerretsen to an event, or requesting to receive a congratulatory certificate or letter of congratulations, can now do that by going onto the City’s website.
“Kingstonians connect with me in many ways and I receive a lot of requests to attend events and provide letters,” said Mayor Mark Gerretsen. “I am always happy to attend events, whether it’s to hand out medals at sporting events, welcome out of town guests, support local non-profits or celebrate new businesses in our community. The hope is these new forms will allow residents a quick and easy way to connect.”
The Mayor’s page on the City website include request forms for congratulatory certificates, letters of welcome, and invites for the Mayor.
Residents simply fill out the applicable form by entering in their information and then complete the process by clicking on the “submit” button. Once submitted, the information is automatically sent to the Mayor’s office for review.
