Kingston Police have issued the following report regarding a hit & run incident:
Kingston Police are currently investigating a Hit & Run vehicle collision with a pedestrian that occurred at approximately 10:30pm on Friday, Nov 29 on Princess St, just outside of The Toucan, between Wellington St and King St East. (map)

The male pedestrian received serious injuries and was transported to hospital.
The vehicle is described as being a gray car/sedan, similar to or possibly being a Honda. It will have damage to the right front end and be missing the passenger side-view mirror.
Investigators believe some witnesses may have departed the scene before police arrival and would like to speak with them as soon as possible.
Additionally, Kingston Police would like to identify the driver and vehicle involved in this case. Anyone with information is asked to call 613-549-4660.

Princess St was closed between Wellington St and King St East as investigators and collision re-constructionists worked. Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
UPDATE Dec. 3 : The struck pedestrian’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening at this time.
Car dealerships, auto-repair businesses and salvage yards in and around the Kingston area are advised to please be aware of this investigation and to call police if such a vehicle with similar damage is observed.
After investigation and consultation the vehicle is believed to be a 1998-2002 gray or silver four-door Honda Accord.
It will have damage and be missing pieces from the right front bumper, and additionally, the passenger side view mirror was detached during the collision.
