The City of Kingston is offering the use of a Community Suite at the Rogers K-Rock Centre and free tickets to regular season Kingston Frontenac games to eligible community organizations.

Local eligible charities, minor sports associations, service clubs and other not-for-profit community groups are being encouraged to apply, and this year they will enjoy a larger suite at the Rogers K-Rock Centre containing 16 seats.

New Community Suite Allocation Guidelines now offer a simpler application process that makes it easier for eligible applicants to access this program.

According to a news release, “Groups eligible to apply to use the suite during the OHL regular season include incorporated not-for-profit agencies, registered charities, minor sports associations, service clubs and community organizations in Kingston Census Metropolitan Area (CMA) which includes the City of Kingston, the Township of South Frontenac, The Township of Frontenac Islands and Loyalist Township.”

Groups interested in applying to use the suite should review the Community Suite Allocation Guidelines on the City of Kingston website, fill out the form located at the end of the Guidelines, and return it by email to communitysuite@cityofkingston.ca or fax it to 613-546-3004 .

The application deadline has been been extended to Monday, June 16, 2014 to include the 2014-2015 Kingston Frontenacs regular season.

Successful organizations should also note that they will be responsible for the cost of food and beverages consumed in the suite.
