Kingston Police have announced the arrest of two men suspected to be involved in multiple vehicles having their tires slashed in the Uxbridge Crescent area.
The two accused local men, 18 and 40 years of age, have so far been charged with 23 counts of mischief for the incidents that also took place on nearby Waterloo Drive and Warburton Crescent.
According to a release, investigation detectives first arrested a 40-year-old Kingston man at approximately 6:00 pm Tuesday evening, on reasonable grounds he committed the offence.
An 18-year-old man was contacted soon afterwards and surrendered himself at police headquarters at approximately 7:30 pm.
The two are jointly charged with the 23 counts of mischief as of this date, however detectives believe more related cases of vandalism have yet to be reported.
For people needing to file a “Damage to Vehicle” report, Kingston Police recommends using the online reporting system on its website.
