Kingston’s own R.J. Downes debuts his one-act comedy “Two Actresses” through Bottle Tree Productions’ Studio Series. The all-Kingston show, which stars Anne-Marie Bergman and Naomi Greer-Ballance, will be held at the intimate Bottle Tree Studio in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
The performance opens on Thursday, February 9th at 7:30 PM and features the music of Kelsey McNulty (Good Fortune), telling the story of “Margo and Susan, two community theatre actresses, who have maintained their friendship over a decade, until today’s dress rehearsal, when their antics on stage land them in the emergency room at the hospital. Over the hour that they spend there, they each learn a few truths about each other… and themselves.”
Bergman and Greer-Ballance, who have extensive experience in community theater in Kingston, bring the comedy to life with their physical and nuanced deliveries. The show runs approximately 60 minutes and promises to be a great evening of fun.
Tickets are available for $24.62 inclusive at bottletreeinc.com and include the option to stream the performance live on Facebook Live. Tickets also available at The Bottle Tree Studio, 130 Clergy Street East in Kingston.
Performances run from February 9th to 25th, Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 PM and two Sunday matinees at 2:00 PM on February 12 and 19.
Don’t miss out on this entertaining and affordable evening in Kingston.
