The Rogers K-Rock Centre has announced it is selling limited edition tour inspired t-shirts at its box office now. “1 The Tragically Hip Way” shirts cost $20 and all profits will be donated to Gord Downie’s foundations.
Shirts come in M,L,XL and, according to a social media post, sales are by cash only.
Site of the Tragically Hip’s last concert on their Man Machine Poem global top 10 tour, the Rogers K-Rock Centre is also home to the Kingston Frontenacs, who likewise raised funds for the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research in January 2017 by wearing special Hip jerseys at a game that were auctioned off to raise over $70,000.
Five years ago, in February of 2013, the Hip was on hand to unveil “1 The Tragically Hip Way” signage at the K-Rock Centre’s main entrance. They headlined the first concert at the Centre when it opened in February 2008 and performed again that same night.
These limited edition t-shirts can be purchased now at 1 Tragically Hip Way.
