Alberta rockers Royal Tusk are kicking off the new decade with a coast-to-coast Thunder on the Tundra tour that hits Kingston on March 3.

Appearing alongside Brkn Love, Sights & Sounds and Ready The Prince, Royal Tusk will perform at The Mansion immediately following tour stops in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.
The four-piece Edmonton-born Royal Tusk – Daniel Carriere, Sandy MacKinnon, Quinn Cyrankiewicz, and Calen Stuckel – are described as mounting “a high-octane assault on the lazy security blanket, self-aware irony of hipsters and the disingenuous commercial pandering of rock poseurs alike” with more in common with Deep Purple and Aerosmith than anything on commercial radio.
Royal Tusk released their first EP Mountain in 2014 and followed up with full-length albums DealBreaker (2016) and TUSK II (2018). In addition to touring, the band continues releasing music videos that include the cinematic Aftermath and lyric video for First Time – both having surpassing 200,000 views each on Youtube to date – and the video for Die Knowing that was posted earlier this month:
The Thunder on the Tundra tour comes to The Mansion, 506 Princess Street, on Tuesday March 3 and tickets are on sale now.
