Kingston pottery studio, Amaranth Stoneware, is inviting the community to experience a day of pottery at its Open House on Thursday, May 9th between 4pm and 8pm.
The event is for all ages and features free workshops to play with clay, tours of the production facility, swag & prizes, and free cake.
“It gives us such joy to see people fall in love with their creativity and experience the multiple benefits pottery has to offer,” said owner and operator, Jo-Anne Warren.
The pottery studio is located at 745 Development Drive where everyone is encouraged to experience the fun of pottery and then keep the pieces they make after firings.
Amaranth Stoneware has been a production pottery studio in Kingston for over 25 years. Along with making handmade pottery, Amaranth Stoneware also sells pottery supplies nationally and hosts a wide range of creative courses and workshops for beginners or intermediate ceramicists.
