Folk music fans are in for a treat when Piper & Carson bring their tour to Kingston’s Musiikki Cafe on May 2.
The Salt & Steam Tour is hitting a number of venues throughout Ontario before heading east to Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia – performing ‘songs of life and death, compassion, taking action, honouring ancestors and elevating the stuff of everyday life’.
The Hamilton-based duo were both raised in Ontario and met on Carson’s father’s organic vegetable farm. They have since spent the last four years touring Canada coast-to-coast, showcasing at international Folk Conferences, touring overseas in the Netherlands and to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. They released their first album ‘Piper & Carson’ in December 2017.
