Kingston’s Headstones, headliners at this weekend’s Rockin’ the Big House concert at the former Kingston Penitentiary, have released a new music video shot at that same historic site.
‘Leave It All Behind’ is the latest single from the band’s upcoming album set for a fall release. Its new video, directed by Gordon Hawkins and debuted at K-Rock 105.7, joins Headstones’ tribute cover ‘Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald‘ in being filmed locally, with the latter shot just outside Kingston at Bathouse Studio – where the band also records – and on frozen Lake Ontario right across the road.
Headstones will be closing out Saturday’s Rockin’ the Big House concert at the Kingston Pen – a charity event in support of the local United Way KFL&A. Joining the band in donating their time and talent are The Trews, Kasador, The Pursuit of Happiness, special guest Tom Cochrane and an appearance by members of the Tragically Hip: Gord Sinclair, Rob Baker, and Paul Langlois, who will also be MCing the event.
‘Leave It All Behind’ is AVAILABLE NOW at all streaming and digital services and on your favourite rock radio station.
