The Kingston Frontenac Public Library (KFPL) is set to host a series of events and activities this Halloween season.

“When it comes to celebrating Halloween,” said Brianne Peters, Librarian for Children’s Services, “the library is where you’ll find the most ‘boo-tiful’ stories and ‘skele-fun’ activities.”

The library has scheduled the following events:

Haunted Canada Author Night:

Renowned author Joel A. Sutherland takes you on a journey through Haunted Canada on October 21 at 2 p.m. at the Calvin Park Branch.

P.A. Day Programs on October 27:

Don’t miss the Pumpkin Wreath Take Home Kit and Hallowe’en Dance Party during the October 27 P.A. Day.

Not-So-Scary Hallowe’en Family Storytime:

On October 28 at 10:30 a.m. at the Calvin Park Branch, there will be a special Halloween edition of Family Storytime, featuring a blend of stories, songs, and rhymes suitable for the whole family.

Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes for the events.
