New Headstones Album Track Holds Steady in Billboard Top 5 Chart

Published on: 2019/11/01 - in Entertainment

One week after the new Headstones album exploded on scene, its single “Leave It All Behind” continues holding firm in the Top 5 of a Billboard mainstream rock chart.

“Leave It All Behind” – on the chart alongside another Kingston-founded band, Glorious Sons – is just one of the hard-hitting tracks featured on PEOPLESKILLS, Headstones’s tenth studio album since their 1987 launch here in Kingston.

PEOPLESKILLS enters a Headstones discography book-ended by #1 singles – from their first album, Picture of Health’s “It’s All Over” topping the Cancon chart in 1993 to Little Army’s “Devil’s On Fire” hitting #1 on the Active Radio Rock chart in 2017.

Two music videos from PEOPLESKILLS have been released to date and both “Leave It All Behind” and the new “Dimes and Pennies” (below) were filmed at the former Kingston Penitentiary. The band’s tribute cover “Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald” was recorded and filmed just outside Kingston at Bathouse Recording Studio – owned and operated by their friends, The Tragically Hip – and can be purchased online.

PEOPLESKILLS is available now for streaming and download and at Amazon or on your favourite rock radio station.
