Fever’s Candlelight concert series is set to light up Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts in Kingston with special Halloween-themed shows.
The event, titled “Candlelight: A Haunted Evening of Halloween Classics,” will include performances of popular movie soundtracks such as The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, Ghostbusters, The Exorcist, and Thriller. The concert will be held on October 30th at 8:45 p.m., with tickets starting at $32, available through Fever’s platform.
Fever’s Candlelight Concerts are part of a broader initiative to increase access to classical music by presenting it in a distinctive setting. The concerts are designed to appeal to a wider audience through a variety of musical genres performed by local musicians in notable venues. The experience is enhanced by the visual ambiance of thousands of candles, creating a unique atmosphere that aims to engage attendees who may not typically attend classical music events.
This program intends to introduce classical music to new listeners while also showcasing well-known modern pieces in an unconventional format. The initiative, according to Fever, “invites a broader audience that might have never considered a classical music concert before to connect with the most iconic pieces of the greatest composers and listen to the top hits of well-known artists in a different way.”
Fever, a global live-entertainment platform founded in 2014, is focused on democratizing access to culture and entertainment through its digital platform. It offers a range of experiences, from immersive exhibitions and interactive theater to unique musical performances and pop-up events, and works to support creators by using data and technology to expand entertainment offerings worldwide.
