The Glorious Sons Announce New Year’s Eve Kingston Concert

Kingston’s JUNO Award-winning, Billboard Chart-topping The Glorious Sons announced today a hometown concert at the Leon’s Centre this New Year’s Eve.

The December 31, 2021 concert was revealed this morning by some of the Sons on KRock 1057. Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10am ET and TGS Union members get access to the pre-sale tomorrow (Tuesday) at 10am ET.

The band’s special guest that night will be JJ Wilde, whose debut single “The Rush” reached #1 on Canada’s modern rock, active rock and mainstream rock charts in 2020. Her debut album that same year, Ruthless, won Rock Album of the Year at the 2021 Juno Awards.

Named by the Washington Times as “Canada’s Best Export, The Glorious Sons have played a wide variety of venues in Kingston, both small and large – including a sold out show at Richardson Stadium and headlining the former KRock Centre, where they recorded a music video for S.O.S. / Sawed Off Shotgun (embedded below).

Most recently, the Sons were special guests of the Rolling Stones in L.A., marking their third invitation to open for the legendary UK rockers since the Stones’ 2018 “No Filter” tour stop in Marseilles, France.
