Public skating is returning to Kingston this holiday season – presented by Leon’s Furniture Kingston.

For three days between December 28th to January 4th, members of the public are invited to lace up their skates and take to the ice at the Leon’s Centre arena.

In addition to free skating sessions, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable donations to the Holiday Food Drive in support of the Kingston Food Bank- Partners in Mission.

There will be a capacity limit on the ice, which will be monitored by event staff, and attendees are asked to enter through gate 4.5, with doors located at Tragically Hip way and King St.

Children seven and under must be actively supervised by a responsible person 16 or older, and children ten and under must wear a protective CSA-approved helmet with a screen while skating. It is also strongly recommended that all skaters wear helmets.

The public skating schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, December 28th from 1 PM – 3 PM
Saturday, December 31st from 2 PM – 4 PM
Wednesday, January 4th from 2 PM – 4 PM

Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enjoy some holiday fun on the ice!
