Award Winning Organist David Simon Coming to St. George’s Cathedral

David Simon, Organist of St. James Cathedral in Toronto, will be performing in concert at St George’s Cathedral in Kingston on Saturday, October 26 at 4pm.

A first prize winner of the Royal Canadian College of Organists 2019 national competition, Simon has played recitals and accompanied choir tours across North America, Europe, the U.K., and Russia as well as given premieres with the Toronto and New Haven Symphony Orchestras. He is also the first prize and audience prize winner in the 2018 University of Michigan organ improvisation competition.

Presented by the Royal Canadian College of Organists Kingston Centre, admission to the St George’s Cathedral concert is $20 ($10 for students) at the door. The program will include the complete “Symphonie Romane” by the French composer Charles-Marie Widor.
