Hockey Hall of Fame member Darryl Sittler has been named Hockey Ambassador at Feb Fest’s seventh annual winter celebration.
The former Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, whose record for the most points ever scored in a game – six goals and four assists in 1976 – still stands today, will be available to meet fans during the event.
The public can see the hockey legend at Springer Market Square from 12pm to 1pm, and from 2pm until 3pm he will be signing autographs in the K-Rock 105.7 tent and at the Feb Fest “Hot Stove”, being held this year at the Grizzly Grill on Saturday, February 5th from 5 – 7 pm.
A limited number of tickets for “Hot Stove” are available for $25 and can be purchased by calling 613-542-8677 or emailing info@downtownkingston.ca . Joining Darryl Sittler will be Brad Marsh and Rick Smith.
Feb Fest, a free event open to everyone to see the best of what a Kingston winter has to offer, was founded by a volunteer committee led by Kirk Muller (Downtown Kingston! BIA), Kingston Accommodation Partners, KEDCO, Queen’s University, and the City of Kingston .
