The Royal Canadian College of Organists (RCCO) Kingston Centre will host the sixth annual Great Bach Marathon on Saturday, March 22, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at St. George’s Cathedral, located at 270 King Street East.
The event will feature performances of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, widely regarded as one of the most influential composers in history.
The marathon will include musicians from the Kingston area, as well as participants from the Dan School of Drama and Music and the Moellman family. Audience members are welcome to attend for a single performance or stay for the entire afternoon.
The event does not require registration or an admission fee; however, freewill donations will be collected and shared between the RCCO scholarship fund and St. George’s Cathedral.
