The Glorious Sons Engage in “A War On Everything” with New Album

Kingston’s JUNO Award winning rockers, The Glorious Sons, celebrated the worldwide launch of their new album “A War On Everything” this past Friday accompanied by an animated short for its title-track single.

“I think these days we all walk around over-stimulated, over-dependent, addicted, yearning for some magic way to isolate ourselves from the world and still be loved,” said frontman Brett Emmons of the single. “The War on Everything is essentially a war within yourself that you fight forever, and I don’t think there’s much of a choice to it at all.”

The album was recorded at North of Princess studios in Kingston and comes just one week before the band’s hometown concert this Saturday at Richardson Stadium.  The Sons then embark on an extensive European tour beginning November 4 in Birmingham, UK.

‘A War On Everything’ follows the wildly successful ‘Young Beauties and Fools’ album, which produced their first Billboard #1 hit – “S.O.S. (Sawed Off Shotgun)”.

“S.O.S.” held the top spot at Active Rock in Canada for 10 consecutive weeks, 4 at US Active Rock, spent a record breaking 64 weeks on the Canadian Rock Radio Charts, earned CRIA GOLD certification, and is the most played track of 2019 at Rock Radio in the U.S.

This year also saw the Sons open for the Rolling Stones a second time when the legendary rockers’ came to Canada in June, one year after the band first opened for the Stones in Marseille, France.
