The 28th edition of the Franco-Foire des affaires et services en français will take place on Saturday, October 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kingston East Community Centre, located at 779 Highway 15.
Organized annually by the Association canadienne-française de l’Ontario, Conseil régional des Mille-Îles (ACFOMI) since 1997, the event aims to highlight the products and services available in French within the Kingston and Thousand Islands region.
This year’s theme is “Planting Our Roots in Our Community.” The fair will feature 50 exhibitors from various sectors offering services in French, along with additional activities for families. These activities include a food preservation workshop and a children’s show by Panache Eh!, designed to engage both visitors and young attendees.
The event is supported by local sponsors, including Sainte-Marie-River and Mgr-Rémi-Gaulin, two schools from the Conseil des écoles catholiques du Centre-Est (CECCE).
For further information regarding the event schedule and exhibitors, the public is encouraged to follow ACFOMI on social media or visit the official website. All Francophones and Francophiles are invited to attend.
