Starlight Snowshoe Hike Returns to Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area

The Cataraqui Region Conservation Authority (CRCA) has opened registration for its Starlight Snowshoe Hike.

The hike will be held on Saturday, February 11 beginning at 6:30 pm at the Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area – Weather & conditions permitting.

It’s promised that the pace will be easy so participants can enjoy the breathtaking vista as they hike along the trail with only the light of the moon and stars above. Participants are also advised to bring flashlights/headlamps with them.

Registration forms can be found online at www.crca.ca/online-services and the sign-up period for this event ends on February 10th at 4 pm.

The CRCA reports space is limited, so registrations should be made as soon as possible.

Hot chocolate and snacks will be available for purchase after the hike in the snack bar at the Outdoor Centre.

The cost is $12 per person for annual pass holders and $17.50 for non-pass holders, which includes the gate free and snowshoe rental.

Annual passes are available for $80 per year.

The Little Cataraqui Creek Conservation Area is located on Division Street just two kilometres north of Highway 401.
