The public has been invited to vote for their favorite Kingston garden, adding their choices to the votes already cast by the official Kingston Blooms judges.

“With 59 gardens submitted to Kingston Blooms this year, online voters will really get a sense of the diverse plantings and enthusiasm residents have for keeping Kingston beautiful,” said Kingston Blooms co-ordinator, Sue Hitchcock, in a release.

Hitchcock added that “gardeners across the city have done an outstanding job this year, creating gardens that are full of colourful blooms and lush healthy plants – certainly an achievement with this summer’s challenging growing conditions.”

Online voting is open until midnight, August 18 and the winners in all Kingston Blooms categories will be recognized at a ceremony on September 15.
