Beginning this Saturday, the Tomlinson Aqua Park will be open to the public on weekends – with extended operating days and hours to start after June 19th.

The water park, located at 303 York Street, offers a number of amenities that include:

  • 25-metre lane pool
  • Leisure pool
  • Diving board
  • Tot pool
  • 18-station splash pad
  • 10-metre water slide (users must be 137 cm/4.5 feet tall to use the slide)
  • Lazy river
  • Family change rooms
  • Zero beach entry, offering wheelchair accessibility
  • Day lockers
  • Full aquatic programming, including Red Cross Swim lessons
  • Shaded picnic and patio areas

“Nothing says summer like zipping down the 10-metre waterslide or floating on the lazy river,” said Lynda Breen, supervisor, recreation programs with the City of Kingston. “There really is something for everyone at Tomlinson Aqua Park. The splash pad and tot pool are great for the youngest Kingstonians. Teens and adults can swim laps or simply cool off in the lane pool or leisure pool.”

The Aqua park will be open Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 4 pm, subject to light and weather conditions. To find out about possible closures due to weather or other issues, follow The City of Kingston on Facebook or Twitter.

Drop-in daytime admission is $3.45 per person, evening admission is $2.40 per person and twelve-visit and season passes are available. City of Kingston FitPasses are also accepted.

Information on all of the City’s splash pads, wading pools and aquatic facilities can be found at CityofKingston.ca/Aquatics.
