2015 Kingston Buskers Rendezvous Has Begun

Published on: 2015/07/10 - in Entertainment Featured

The 27th annual Kingston’s Buskers Rendezvous has begun, running until Sunday, July 12th. The event, which was started as a a fun addition to Downtown Kingston’s July Sidewalk Sale, has now become known as one of the preeminent festivals of its kind in Canada.

This year there is a great mix of new, returning and original buskers who are sure to delight audiences of all ages with their magic, juggling, dancing, songs, and more.

For four days, both local and international buskers perform downtown for free – it’s up to the audience to decide how much to pay, as the Buskers earn their living by “passing the hat”. So if you enjoy their performance let them know when the hat is passed!

To locate individual buskers, you can find the most up-to-date schedule at The Kington Whig Standard Busker Information Booth in Confederation Park across from City Hall, . The booth is open daily from 11 am to 10 pm.
