Music in the Gardens returns to the Lions Civic Gardens this summer bringing live, local music to Kingston’s west end.
The free concerts take place on select Wednesday nights from 7pm to 8pm in July and August with musical genres that range from Celtic to jazz to pop to cabaret.
This year’s performances include:
- July 10 – The Celtic Kitchen Party (Celtic)
- July 24 – Chantal Thompson (Jazz, Soul and R&B)
- Aug. 14 – Big Phat Horn Band (Pop)
- Aug 28 – Beautiful Noise: Cliff Edwards and Janice Wilkins (Cabaret)
Parking is available at the Cataraqui Town Centre (map) on 875 Gardiners Rd. near Princess Street with an accessible drop-off area can be found at the top of the park. You can also plan a bus trip and take Kingston Transit.
Music in the Gardens is presented in partnership by the City of Kingston, the Kingston Musicians Union, and the Music Performance Trust Fund (MPTF).
