Tickets on Sale for United Way Campaign Kick-off Breakfast

RELEASE — On Friday, September 7th, over 500 dedicated United Way supporters will start the day with a hot buffet breakfast at the Ambassador Hotel & Conference Centre. Doors open at 7:00am.

This year’s campaign chair, Fred Godbille, will announce the 2018 Campaign Goal. The program is MC’d by Corus Entertainment, with Kingston’s town crier and agency speakers on the agenda.

Workplaces will get a chance to share their goals, events and announce funds raised to date.

Every year thousands of volunteers come together to raise funds for services that help their families, friends and neighbours.  Organizations, frontline agencies, professional staff and media partners rally together to raise funds in support of the United Way.  Last year United Way invested in 73 programs that helped over 58,000 people in our community.

This year’s Campaign Kick-off is sponsored by the Ambassador Conference Resort and Assurant. Tickets are $15 each or a table of 10 for $150. Tickets are going very quickly.
