Hot off of Vans Warped Tour, award-winning rock trio, Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold, will be adding their signature ‘flavour’ to this year’s Taste of Kingston on Sunday, July 29th.
Taking the stage at 2:00 pm at Ktown’s Confederation Park, this will mark the band’s second appearance at the annual fundraiser hosted by the Canadian Diabetes Association.
With its impressive draw of over 5000 visitors each year, Taste of Kingston is in good company with Perry and crew’s current tour schedule which also boasts stops at International Pop Overthrow (Chicago), Jersey Shore Festival (New Jersey), East Coast Music Conference (Norfolk VA) and The Great Canadian Kayak Festival (Timmins).
Beyond top-tier live entertainment and tantalizing culinary delights, the 20th annual celebration includes cooking demos, giveaway contests, a dramatic performance, drum circle and kid’s zone.
Also returning to the main stage to close the show are local favourites, The Jordy Jackson band; acoustic singer-songwriter Mellow Lily will be kicking things off at 11 am.
Food and raffle tickets are available for $1 each. Vendors price their ‘Taste Bites’ (menu items) accordingly.
Taste of Kingston 2018 runs from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm – one day only – on Sunday July 29th at Confederation Park (6 Clarence St.).
