Rent Skates At Market Square Over The Holidays

Those with out-of-town visitors may wish to take advantage of the holiday Skate Rental service being offered in basement of City Hall beside the rink at Springer Market Square.

Skates can be rented between noon and 10 p.m., December 27 to 31 (booth closes at 8 p.m. on New Year’s Eve) and again on January 2 and 3. The booth will be set up beside the washrooms and locker/change area off the south courtyard.

Rental rates are:

  • Adults $4
  • Seniors and Students $3
  • Children $2
  • Families $2.50 per person

The rink at Springer Market Square is closed today, due to the rain – but, weather-permitting, it will be operational over the holidays.
