Police Seek Information About Assault on Queen Street

Kingston Police have reached out to the community to find witnesses to an assault that occurred last week or for information that will help them identify the suspect:

On October 25, 2017 at approximately 2:30 a.m. the victim was walking on Queen Street approaching Division Street. The victim was on the North sidewalk when she noticed a male unknown to her, walking in her direction.

The two approached each other at a parking area between 321 Queen Street and 209 Division Street (pictured above). The suspect suddenly grabbed the victim by her sweater and pushed her to the ground within the parking area. The suspect ran off after the victim began screaming while kicking him.

The suspect was last seen running along the east side of Division Street in a southward direction.

He is described as a white male, 24-30 years-of-age, 6’1” tall, average weight, short brown hair, clean shaven, no glasses, and at the time he was wearing a black hoodie and dark pants.
