Police Seek Witnesses to Incident of Male Approaching Children (Updated)

Kingston Police have posted the following request for witnesses or information regarding an adult male who spoke with young children near W.J. Holsgrove Public School last week:

UPDATE: Police have added the following statement to their initial postThe male has now been identified and investigators have no reason to believe he is the suspect that has been approaching children.

Kingston Police are looking to identify any potential witness who may have information on recent suspicious activities involving an adult male trying to speak to young children.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak to a male that was seen standing near the intersection of Woodfield Crescent and Leyton Avenue in Westbrook at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday June 13, 2018. This male was observed to be a white male, was standing on the side of the road, smoking a cigarette. The male then left in an unknown direction on foot.
