Baby at Christmas

Kingston’s Family and Children’s Services of Frontenac, Lennox and Addington has issued the following important update:

This is the week that will make or break the holidays for the Tree of Hope We’re sending you another update on the Tree of Hope, our annual holiday appeal and one of the oldest holiday campaigns in Southeastern Ontario.

Every year, we help hundreds of the kids we serve. Here’s where the campaign is at right now. We still have 65 kids who need gifts.

We need toys and gifts:

* For Babies. Sleepwear, bath products, educational toys would be best.
* For Teens. Boys in particular. Gift cards or personal items would be ideal.

We’re $5,000 short of our monetary goal

We’ve raised $20,000, but our goal is $25,000. We need the money to help with the gifts we’ve already purchased for the campaign – everything from gift cards to winter boots to baby cribs.

The Deadline for toy donations and deliveries is Friday. Online donations of money can continue till December 31st.

This is the last week for toy and gift donations.

If you have toys or other gifts to give to the Tree of Hope make sure you deliver them to the Kingston or Napanee office by Friday. You can make a donation with a credit card online until the end
of the month.
