Limestone District School Board Seeks Feedback for its Website

Published on: 2012/05/16 - in Releases

The Limestone District School Board is improving its website to serve you better. As part of this process, they are asking for public and staff feedback to help them redesign a more user-friendly website that best meets the needs of all of their stakeholders.

To help gather input on what kinds of information, services and resources are most relevant to students, parents, educators, support staff and the community, they have created a short online survey. The survey can be as short or as long as you would like.

The entire survey takes about 10 to 15 minutes to complete, but participants can opt out after just 11 questions if they choose. The survey is broken into three sections: general feedback, specific content and design and social media. Each section takes about five minutes to answer.

All answers are anonymous. There is, however, an opportunity for you to provide your contact information if you wish to be involved in further consultations related to the website. The deadline for input is Friday, June 8.

Once this feedback is analyzed, the behind-the-scenes work of redesigning the website will begin, and will take place over the next few months. School websites will also be reviewed and redesigned in the near future.

The LDSB website was last updated in 2005-2006. Since then, they have added hundreds of pages and it’s time to see if this information still meets the needs and expectations of their stakeholders. The LDSB is also looking to add new features to ensure they are continually improving and evolving to strengthen communication and engagement, as outlined in their strategic plan.
