The first annual Walk for Muscular Dystrophy will be hosted by the Kingston Walk for Muscular Dystrophy planning committee on June 6th at Lake Ontario Park. Festivities begin at 10:00 a.m. with participant registration and the walk, wheel or run begins at 11:00 a.m.
The Walk for Muscular Dystrophy is a fun event that the entire family can participate in – regardless of fitness level. “The Walk is a great opportunity to meet other families and individuals in the community” boasts Meighan Hartley, Muscular Dystrophy Canada’s Community Development Manager in Ontario and Nunavut.

The celebration includes activities for kids as well as snacks and refreshments. Walk participants can choose from a 1km or 5km route.
