Kingston City Closures for Easter Weekend

The City of Kingston reports the following municipal services will be affected by the Easter holiday that runs from Friday, April 22 to Monday, April 25.

Kingston Transit:
– Kingston Transit buses will not run on Friday.
– Buses run on their regular service on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Green Bin, garbage and recycling:
–  There is no collection on Friday, April 22 or Monday, April 25.
– Friday’s material will be collected Saturday.
– Monday’s collection moves to Tuesday and for the rest of the week, collection occurs the day after regular day.

Administrative Offices (including Community and Family Services on Montreal Street, Provincial Offences and Utilities Kingston):
– Closed Friday through Monday.
– In the event of a utility emergency, such as a gas smell or a water main break, call the Utilities Kingston 24-hour number at 613-546-1181.

Portsmouth Olympic Harbour:
– Open Friday (8 a.m. to 8 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.) and Monday (8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to accommodate advance polls for Elections Canada.

The Kingston Area Recycling Centre:
– Closed Friday and Monday.
– Open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artillery Park Aquatics & Fitness Centre:
– Closed Friday and Monday.
– Open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.

INVISTA Centre (including the Fitness & Wellness Centre):
– Closed Friday and Monday.
– Open regular hours on Saturday and Sunday.

Arenas
– Closed Friday.

Libraries:

All branches of the Kingston Frontenac Public Library will be closed Friday, Sunday, and Monday.

Grand Theatre Box Office:
– Open Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
– Closed Monday.

Oakwood Daycare:
– Closed Friday and Monday.

MacLachlan Woodworking Museum:
– Closed Friday and Monday
– Open Saturday and Sunday 12 a.m. to 4 p.m.
