Congratulations to Raymond Alport of Kingston for winning $100,000 with ENCORE in the November 22, 2017 LOTTO 6/49 draw.
“I purchased my ticket when I stopped to get gas on the way to Belleville,” said Raymond, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his cheque. “I usually play my own numbers but this time I just got a Quick Pick. And it paid off!”
Raymond, married for 7 years, found out about his win the day after the draw. “I scanned my ticket on the self-checker and saw $100,000. I turned chalk white and called my wife immediately to share the good news! And then I called literally every other contact in my phone!”
While most of his windfall will be put into his retirement fund, Raymond also plans to share the lottery love with those people and causes close to his heart. “I would like to see my wife treat herself to something wonderful! She always looks after everyone else around her – now it’s her time! I also plan to donate to our local animal shelter,” he smiled.
