Tourism Kingston

On March 29, Tourism Kingston welcomed Gareth Rees, inductee into the International Rugby Hall of Fame and Canadian Men’s Team Program Manager, and Graham Brown, CEO of Rugby Canada, in Kingston to finalize arrangements for the June 9, 2012 men’s rugby match with Team Canada vs. Team USA in Kingston’s Richardson Stadium. This major international test match, which pits the Canadian National Senior Men’s team against Team USA, will give Canadian fans in Kingston and surrounding areas the opportunity to see exciting live action.

Looking to keep up the momentum from Canada’s excellent 2011 Rugby World Cup appearance, the Canadian team featured in this match (currently ranked 13th in the world) will carry many of the same members as that squad. Tickets for the Team Canada vs. Team USA rugby match can be purchased online by visiting http://www.kingstonrugby.ca,  in person at the Tourism Kingston Visitor Information Centre at 209 Ontario Street or by phone at 613-548-4415.
