HIGHLIGHTS OF RECENT PROGRESS & ACTIVITIES

Business Development

John-Paul Shearer, Director of Business Development joined Commodore William S. Truelove and a delegation from Royal Military College on a tour of Metal Craft Marine. A highly innovative company, Metal Craft is a fully integrated designer and builder of high-speed aluminum patrol boats, fire/rescue craft, and specialty vessels ranging from 22 – 70 feet and has been designing and building high-quality commercial and government boats since 1987 and currently employs 85 highly skilled personnel. The delegation discussed synergies between Metal Craft Marine and the Royal Military College.

KEDCO and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade (MEDT) are hosting Exploring Export Opportunities in Emerging Markets roundtable session on Wednesday February 23 from 9am – 12pm at 945 Princess Street.  Companies that are interested in exploring the potential of exporting products and/or services to South America, Mexico, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East, or the U.S. are encouraged to attend this session. Five international trade representatives and the MEDT will be available to discuss services available to help businesses export into these markets.
