Kingston Police issued the following report of an attempted theft and assault during the early morning hours of October 15:
On October 14, 20017 at approximately 11:30 p.m. the victim was in the Hub near the Metro at 310 Barrie Street when he was approached by the accused. A struggle ensued when the accused attempted to steal an item the victim was carrying. The accused began choking the victim and during the attack the victim suffered a severe laceration across his face requiring immediate medical attention.
The accused is described as a university age Asian male, black hair shaved on the sides but longer on the top in a bun, approximately 6’ tall, slim to medium build, wearing a beige/grey top.
