Grownup Storytime Returns to Kingston Frontenac Public Library

RELEASE — Are you looking for a new way to connect with other readers? KFPL’s online Grownup Storytime is back, now at a new time!

As organizer Margi McKay says, “Why should kids have all the fun?”

Even adults enjoy a good storytime, especially with a live reader instead of an audiobook. Have lunch, work on a hobby, or sit and take a break from your busy day while listening to short stories or chapters from longer works, live.

Participants are welcome to stay online after storytime to discuss what they’ve heard. Everyone will receive an email the same day with links to the KFPL catalogue to reserve both the sources of the day’s readings and other related titles.

Grownup Storytime is happening from 1 to 2 p.m. every Monday from October 18 through November 22.

Participants can attend as many or as few sessions as they would like. Note that registering for one session automatically registers participants for the full six-week series.

Register online or by phone at (613) 549-8888.

Registrants will be emailed a Zoom link immediately upon registration and will also need to have the latest version of Zoom on the device they will be using.
