Free Fall Leisure Showcase Features 80 Exhibitors
Kingstonians looking for ways to get active this season can find at least 80 ways to do so at the free Fall Leisure Showcase 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, 53 Yonge St.
The Showcase will feature demonstrations every half hour by a number of the 80 activity-related exhibitors, including: gymnastics, fencing, dancing, martial arts, cheerleading and more.
The semi-annual Leisure Showcase is the perfect way for citizens of all ages and skill levels to explore activities and compare schedules amongst exhibitors representing Kingston’s full range of leisure-time interests: physical activities, hobby-oriented classes and other opportunities for fun and enrichment.
Residents seeking to activate their lives will also be interested in checking out this year’s Fall/Winter Leisure Magazine, which arrives on doorsteps on Thursday, Sept. 2 in Kingston This Week. The Magazine will be available after Labour Day at all municipal offices, recreation centres, and public libraries.
