Over 100 musicians join Coco Love Alcorn on stage for two shows, Saturday 2 February 2019, 2:00pm and 7:30pm at Cooke’s-Portsmouth United Church, 200 Norman Rogers Drive, Kingston.

You can’t help but sing along as this “sweet and cool” (Chatelaine Magazine), East AND West Coast Music Awards nominee, “plays the choir and audience like a musical instrument”.

Tickets: $15 ($5 under-employed or under 18) at Tara Foods, Novel Idea, Long & McQuade, Brian’s Record Option, Open Voices choir members, openvoices.ca/tickets, and at the door.

After 20 years of concert tours, albums, and TV and film scores, singer-songwriter Coco Love Alcorn has now done something completely different. She has put down her guitar and began writing with just her voice, creating songs in performance with choirs and audiences around the world.

“It wasn’t ’til I took a step back … that a new idea came,” she says.  “After all those years of thinking I was chasing down a sound it turns out I was searching for the right feeling. That feeling is connection: with the listener, the moment, the music and the spirit.”

Coco invites all lovers of jazz, blues, and live music to join her in concert. And to come prepared to feel the music.
