Increased Air Traffic Over the City this Sunday

RELEASE — As part of professional development activities for Officer Cadets of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMCC), there will be a brief increase in Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) aircraft traffic over Kingston, Ontario on Sunday, February 10.

On Sunday, February 10, at approximately 2 p.m. a CH-146 Griffon helicopter and a CC-130H Hercules aircraft from 424 Transport and Rescue Squadron, 8 Wing Trenton, will be conducting a simulated search and rescue (SAR) mission over the RMCC campus.

Flights by RCAF aircraft are carefully planned and closely controlled for public safety.

Of note, the professional development activities are not open to the public or media outlets.
