Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Assault Suspect

Kingston Police have posted the following report regarding a recent assault. Contact police or Crime Stoppers if you can identify this man.

On March 20, 2017 at approximately 9:45 a.m. a male suspect entered the Canadian Tire Store located at 59 Bath Road.

The suspect was observed removing store merchandise from packaging and concealing the items inside a bag he was carrying. As the suspect was exiting the store an employee approached and asked to look inside the bag.

The male suspect suddenly punched the employee on the left side of the face. As the employee was falling to the ground the suspect attempted to punch him a second time, before fleeing on foot towards Concession Street.
