RELEASE —  Nominations for the Oct. 22 municipal and school board elections closed at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 27 and the clerk for the City of Kingston has made the list of candidates official.

“This is shaping up to be an exciting election for Kingston. Not just because we have a great roster of candidates, but also because of the referendum question regarding ranked ballot voting. Regardless of who they vote for, Kingstonians will also be deciding how future mayors and district councillors are chosen,” says John Bolognone, city clerk and returning officer.
