FOUND: Kingston Police Seek Missing 8 Year Old Boy (Update)

Kingston Police posted the following update to their Facebook page:

Missing youth Joshua EVERETT was safely located by Kingston Police at 12:30 p.m. on May 26 in the area of Crossfield Avenue after being contacted by a citizen who recognized the descriptors given to the public.

We wish to thank our media partners and others for assisting us in the quick and safe return of Joshua. Kingston Police are currently searching for 8-year-old Joshua EVERETT who was last seen riding his bicycle within the Cataraqui Woods Park.

Shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26 Joshua was last seen by a family member. He travelled out of view and was not seen again.

Joshua is described as Caucasian, 4’1” in height, 80 pounds, medium-length blonde wavy hair and brown eyes.

He is wearing a bright yellow t-shirt with black and white graphics on it, knee-length black shorts with stripes down the side and black running shoes with bright green laces. He was riding a black mountain bike and did not have a helmet on at the time.

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.

Anonymous tips can be made to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or on the website at www.tipsubmit.com. Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000. Tips can also be left through the Kingston Police MyPD app that can be downloaded at www.kpf.ca, or via a private message to the Kingston Police Facebook Page.
