Virtual Open House Seeks Feedback for Cataraqui North Neighbourhood Parks

The City of Kingston is seeking input on improvements to an existing park at Bert Meunier Common and a new park at Max Crescent, both in the Cataraqui North subdivision.

Staff will introduce the projects to community members who are all invited to attend an interactive virtual meeting. Input wanted for the Bert Meunier Common park is related a proposed basketball court, play field and pathway while for Max Crescent Park, options for a new playground will be featured.

Residents can provide feedback on the Bert Meunier Common and Max Crescent Park in a variety of ways.

Community members can register to participate in the virtual engagement session – you will receive a registration confirmation by email with a link to the webinar, which takes place between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday, March 4.  Residents can also email your comments to the Project Manager at psharpe@cityofkingston.ca.

The meeting will also be closed captioned and live-streamed on the City of Kingston YouTube channel.

Another way to take part online is to view the project plans and complete a quick poll at Get Involved Kingston from March 4 to March 25 to let staff know which playground layout and equipment options you prefer. Input related to accessibility is likewise welcome, in accordance with Ontario Regulation 191/11, in all the available formats.
