Queen’s University Alumni Named Top 40 Under 40

The Caldwell Partners International has named three Queen’s University alumni for one of the country’s most distinguished awards: Canada’s Top 40 Under 40.

Leonard Brody, Artsci’93, is president of Clarity Digital Group and its website: Examiner.com.  Based in Vancouver, the media website is one of the Top 100 in North America, featuring commentary by “trusted insiders” in 245 markets in Canada and the U.S.

Natasha Sharpe, NSc’93, is chief credit risk officer at Sun Life Financial Incorporated. Doctor Sharpe creates risk policy for the company’s $110-billion in managed assets and also chairs the board of the Kensington Health Centre in Toronto.

Steve Sousa, MBA’11, is president and chief operating officer of SaskTel International, which sells the services of SaskTel, Saskatchewan’s telecommunications firm, around the world.  In Mr. Sousa’s three year term, the company has grown from 60 to 103 employees and increased its software division revenues by $5 million.

In June of 2010, three other alumni and a Queen’s professor were honored with this award.

Those recipients included Biology professor and environmental expert Linda Campbell;  Cameron Fowler, Executive Vice-President, BMO Financial Group; Kent Campbell, Deputy Minister, Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources; and William Andrew, President of Elevate Sport.
