A recent Maclean’s magazine report reveals a list of the Canadian universities devoting the largest portion of their operating budget to student scholarships and bursaries.
In Medical Doctoral category, Queen’s University is tied for providing the second highest amount of its operating budget at 11.5%. The University of Ottawa, also with 11.5%, ties Queen’s and both follow the category’s top institution, McGill University at 14%. Completing the top 5 Medical Doctoral schools are Dalhousie at 11.1% and Western at 10.8%.
When factoring in the report’s remaining categories, Waterloo comes in first overall at 14.8%.
