Police Search for Stabbing Suspect

Kingston Police is seeking to identify the suspect in a stabbing incident that took place this past Friday, July 6th.

On that evening, some time before 9pm, the suspect was riding a bicycle eastbound on the south sidewalk of Bath Road just east of Portsmouth Avenue (see map below).

A confrontation occurred between a husband and wife who were walking on the sidewalk which escalated into an altercation that led to the cyclist stabbing the man in the leg and fleeing the scene on his bike.

The victim searched for the perpetrator and soon met up with responding officers who transported him to hospital for treatment.

Last seen in Lafleur Park, east of the stabbing, the suspect is described as a white male, skinny build, narrow face, wearing dark coloured baggy shorts, baggy black tee shirt, and a baseball cap. He was riding a dull colour mountain bike.
